Oscar is an INSPIRATION.
Oscar (3), has recently been diagnosed with profound hearing loss. His family have encountered multiple hurdles and shared with me his path to having hearing aids fitted this year.
THE JOURNEY DOES NOT STOP HERE.
He is learning to hear, speak and sign. He is also under assessment for potential cochlear implants.
My MISSION is to share his experiences to support others experiencing similar roads to diagnosis, to INSPIRE everyone to rediscover positive COMMUNICATIONS which extends beyond the spoken word and to get everyone learning some basic British Sign Language (BSL) signs, which could make such a DIFFERENCE to so many.
